The Spirit of Classic California

I was born and raised in Southern California, growing up between San Diego and Big Bear. As a former flight attendant, I have traveled the world, but I have always come home—and it remains my favorite place in the world. Southern California is not simply the inspiration for Wind & Sea Botanicals; it is the heart of the brand.

The name Wind & Sea reflects two places that have shaped me. Windansea is one of my favorite San Diego beaches, known for its natural beauty and iconic surf break, while the wind recalls the mountain air and towering pines of Big Bear. Together, they represent the coast and mountains I call home and the distinctly Southern California culture behind everything I create.

Wind & Sea Botanicals grew from my desire to reconnect with a time when life along the Southern California coast felt simpler, more elegant and a little more fun—Coppertone-scented beaches, early-morning surf, sunset tacos and margaritas, and long, unhurried days spent lounging beside the Pacific with nothing to do but swim, relax, watch the ocean and wait for the sunset show. It reflects the best of 1968: effortless style, optimism, freedom and the pleasure of slowing down long enough to enjoy who you are and where you are.

What began with creating gentle skincare for my daughter became a way to reclaim my own creativity, purpose and connection to the places that have always restored me. I created Wind & Sea Botanicals to share that feeling through refined home fragrance and self-care rituals—inviting discerning men and women to pause, indulge and bring a little timeless California ease into everyday life.
